I have got my training in architecture from the Far East Technical University Vladivostok, Russia. It sure was a calling. Early on, I produced interior updates: wall building, room opening, corners cutting (real room corners!), color mixing, texture adding, sawing furniture to the parts and nailing them to the wall any place that allowed me with my innovations.  

Years forward, we relocated to the beautiful Northwest. Here the 75 ft wooden boat was our home and a travel vehicle. I worked as a hands-on project assistant for my husband’s construction company. The first steps in CAD drafting were at Grinsted & Wagner Architects where I volunteered for the project. Then, Stewart & King Architects from which I was fired. I was given the oldest and slowest computer that rather was an antique treasure then a design tool. Then, the GR Plume Architectural Timber Co. Ferndale, WA. Here many production drawings for the unique structures were created. It was a rare opportunity to step into the shop and touch the wooden parts of a future building, and smell the wood. Then, it was the P66 refinery where I worked as a drafter-contractor for 12 years. 2020 was the year of pandemic layoffs. It was a ‘Now-or-Never’ time for me! And the Krow Studio was established.
